Cathy Reeves, a native of Poseyville, IN, graduated from University of Evansville in 2010 with her Bachelors in Athletic Training and in 2012 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from University of Evansville. She is currently the Athletic Trainer at Mount Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, IN.

She is a certified orthopaedic manual therapist, as well as a certified Athletic Trainer. She has also completed her training in 2015 as a Certified Industrial Rehabilitation Specialist. Furthermore, she is a credentialed clinical instructor from the American Physical Therapy Association. Cathy is certified in Level 1 and 2 Functional Dry Needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Y-balance testing. She enjoys treating athletes, and wants all patients to know her biggest focus is to get them back to doing what they love!

In her spare time, she enjoys going back to her hometown and working on the farm. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as watching many different sporting events.

Laura, a native from Bettendorf, IA, attended Cornell College where she played collegiate volleyball and graduated in 2010 with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2012 at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. Laura and her family moved to Mt. Vernon in the summer of 2019 after her husband accepted the opportunity to become the varsity boys’ basketball coach at Mt. Vernon High School.

Laura has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings including orthopedic outpatient, skilled care, and home health, but her primary focus and passion is in orthopedics. Laura has attended several continuing education courses with an emphasis on manual therapy to help expedite the rehabilitation process. Laura enjoys treating the entire musculoskeletal system, helping a variety of patients return to the activities they love.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys cheering on the Mt. Vernon Wildcat Athletics, particularly her husband’s boys’ basketball team, cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes, playing volleyball, spending time with her husband and two children, and participating in women’s Bible studies.

Jordan is originally from Jasper, IN. She graduated from the University of Evansville in 2021 with her Bachelors in Exercise Science and in 2023 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Jordan is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, certified personal trainer, and certified nutrition coach. She is also certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment. She pursued a career in physical therapy with a desire to help people of all ages return to doing the activities they love. She has a special interest in helping youth athletes and weightlifters return to their sports.

In her spare time, Jordan enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her soon-to-be husband, Derek. She spends a lot of time in the gym powerlifting and taking her dog, Kelce, for walks. She really enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and watching Kansas City Chief’s football, Cincinnati Red’s baseball, and Indiana Hoosier basketball.

Deidre, a native of Evansville, IN, graduated from University of Evansville in 2002 with her Associates in Physical Therapy and in 2004 with her Bachelors in Health Services from University of Southern Indiana.

Deidre is recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association for her advanced proficiency in Musculoskeletal treatment. In her therapy practice, she loves getting people back to doing the things that they enjoy in life.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going to Cardinals baseball games, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

She lives in Evansville with her husband, Ben, and three children (two sons and one daughter).

Lauren, a native of Mt. Vernon, graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 2009. She then attended USI and received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She transferred to the University of Evansville, where she received her Associate of Physical Therapy degree in 2016.  

She chose to become a PTA after a few sports injuries in high school that put her through physical therapy herself. Combining her passion for exercise and helping others, therapy was her perfect career fit. Lauren is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and has also spent years working with pediatrics and oncology patients.  

Lauren, her husband, and her daughter continue to reside in Mt. Vernon. In her free time, Lauren coaches workout class at Move Mt. Vernon, and LiveStrong at the YMCA, and also does online nutrition and personal training. She also enjoys running, whether it be racing or chasing her daughter and pony around at home.
